100 signed copies of animation
(on DVD) were delivered to residential streets in Lewis, East Sussex, UK in
the hope of obtaining feedback. To

An Attempt at an Autobiography |
Dec-07 |
A professional clown stands with a chain around
his neck which passes up through a pulley and down to a ceramic handle held
by him. On a wall nearby hangs a
famous image by photographer Ernest Withers. The noose made of chain is also
intended as an interactive piece for any passer through to use when the
performance is over. |

Jun-05 |
The title, found after the piece was made,
relates to an old Celtic folk tale. In
the animation the components of a broken mug separate and reassemble. For the purposes of producing it a real mug
was smashed and the individual parts were scanned in using specialist
hardware. The animation should be
projected up in the proximity of a hammer and the real pieces of mug. |

observations of passengers, standing, some inebriated, travelling on London
Underground. This is the first
animation which employed Second Order Differential Equations. Ideally the animation is projected up so
that the rectangular frame edge blurs and is not apparent. |
