Mark O'Knee's Travelogue (2026)
Following in the footsteps of a journey attributed to Flann O'Brien’s De Selby, Mark O'Knee records his experience over 100 days. The work arose from selection for Time. Space. Transmat. by PolyGon Palm, UK, and Embassy at Piksel Festival, Norway. The incentive for this work was an open call and exhibition curated by Tom Milnes. Not sure what the etiquette is now for AI use, what is being boycotted and what is not, but all of ChatGPT, Deepseek, Gemini, Claude, Llama, Copilot, Heidi, Sana, Grammarly, Mistral, Qwen, Cohere, and Perplexity were involved at points. These beasts were used badly, lazily, and in a rushed manner it should be said, in order to allow the authorial spirit through.
