| Cups,
beakers and similar containers appear frequently enough to be rendered
mundane. The development of a process
to break mugs and then reassemble them forms part of an ongoing investigation
into aspects of looping and reverberation. Repetition points to what is absurd, can act like a joke (and does so in the persona of The Clown). Alternatively repetition generates something which is wholly sublime. I play with these ideas through the use of animation, performance and acquired objects. |
